Non-Surgical Decompression To Treat Sciatic Nerve Pain

Non-surgical spinal decompression is a computer controlled, motorized traction that may help relieve sciatica and sciatic nerve pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine by way of a very gentle force that takes pressure off the spinal disks and allows them to not only heal in a natural way, but regain lost hydration. The procedure is completed over twenty treatments, takes less than an hour for each visit, and there is no discomfort. You will remain dressed the for each decompression treatment.

In a recent clinical study, 415 surgical candidates, who were suffering sciatica and radiating sciatic nerve pain, choose to have their first back pain treatment be non-surgical decompression. Each candidate received twenty decompression sessions lasting twenty to twenty five minutes, spread over a six week period. Each patient was assessed for quality of life and sciatic nerve pain, six weeks after their last treatment, and again at the twelve month mark. At the twelve month mark, a remarkable 92% of the of patients were able to avoid surgery, and on average, 82% indicated that the treatment was a success and that their sciatic nerve pain was either gone or manageable.
